Water of my head

Water of My Head draws from Yoruba cosmology, where Ori signifies the head as the seat of destiny, consciousness, and spiritual alignment. In African spiritual practice, washing the head with water is an act of intervention, a ritual of renewal through which burdens are released and clarity is restored. Water does not erase destiny; it cools it, softens it, and allows the individual to realign with their chosen path. Through the presence of water, seashells, and the adorned head, this work frames renewal as a sacred negotiation between the self, nature, and the divine.
